Write a review of your favorite local restaurant
& get published!
Since this week’s passion project is about restaurants, join Ms. Wheeler, who occasionally reviews restaurants for The Seacoast Media Group, and write one yourself! The three most well written reviews will be worked into her next column and published.
Reviewers have to consider a lot of points and have a strong vocabulary. Check out the example of a restaurant review data sheet to see all the categories you should include. There is also a list of descriptive words to consider. Be sure the restaurant is local. Write in complete sentences and use multiple paragraphs.
As you write, think about more than the food. Is the staff polite? Is the restaurant clean? Why is it special to you? Talk to your parents about the prices, and if they consider them a value. The rubric at the bottom of the page will be used to judge the winning entries.
Submit your reviews to [email protected]. Winners will be contacted the following week.
